JOB STATEMENT

This position assures administrative and service competence to give adequate support within Metso Outotec Mexico, towards Field Service Engineer Contracts and end-users. Primary activities will include administrative support of the service process to end customers and Field Service Engineer Managers within Service Team defined.

Thinking in terms of a high service and support level and building confidence, the Field Service Management will liaise with the Contracts Manager, Life Cycle Service Manager, and Service Manager.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative and service support
Warranty support and problem-solving
Support and coordination on complex quotes and customer service visits
Establish and maintain a good company image by ensuring all MO customer contact points get a high competence service and up-to-date sales support.
Regularly travel with related Service Team resources to support selling efforts and end-user satisfaction. Work with the Metso Outotec Service team on required corrective actions.
Plan end customer visits aligned with the MO service team.
Interact and participate as a part of the MO Service team at the specific Contracts and be aligned with their processes.
Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time
Develop a clear understanding of contracts administration and customer needs, and effectively communicate and document this information.
Follow-up the Invoicing and Collection process

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Marketing or International Business). Will consider the equivalent related experience in lieu of degree
Minimum three years of administrative experience with related products or coordinating the service engineer department
Very high demand on administrative and coordination skills.
Experience in complex matrix relationships
High understanding of customer needs
Familiarity with the broad range of Metso Outotec Products
A strong understanding of core processes of the Metso Outotec customer base.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

A general level of computer skills is essential - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
Client skills including building and managing relationships, negotiation skills and understanding of customer needs and market requirements.
Must be capable of effectively and accurately working on several projects at one time, and organizing, prioritizing tasks and working in a fast paced environment.
Strong communication, co-operation, interpersonal and presentation skills to manage internal and external interfaces.
Ability to travel frequently and even with short notice
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Use of keyboards, telephones, copiers, telefax, visits and movement through shops, and travel experiences.
Climbing of stairs, ladders, scaffolds at jobsites and customer facilities.
