PosiTrace is an international GPS Tracking and Fleet Management software-as-a-service provider with operations in Mexico and Canada.

We are looking for an experienced Accountant or Finance Manager professional with solid knowledge of Contpaqi, up-to-date knowledge of Mexican taxation and full cycle accounting experience **to work on our Mexican subsidiary out of our headquarters, located in Burnaby, BC.**

**Requirements**:

- ** Bilingual Spanish/English
- MUST**:

- **Full cycle accounting with experience in accounts receivable, payables and payroll management.**:

- **Prepare month end financial statements for our Mexican subsidiary and assist the Canadian financial team with final consolidation reporting.**:

- **Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting best practices.**:

- Must have Intimate knowledge of the Mexican taxation system (up to date with Mexico taxation, tax filing).
- An expert in filing IVA, ISR, fiscal invoicing, and tax optimization, keeping tax documentation in order.
- Solid foundation of Contpaqi - all three modules, Contabilidad, Bancos and Comercial, hands-on experience in synchronizing modules, clean up mistakes and bugs.

**Key responsabilities**
- Work collaboratively with the customer service team to resolve any financial ambiguities that arise.
- Assist with annual operating budget and review / audit engagements.
- Up to date with MX payroll rules and regulations, knowledgeable of the payroll process.
- SMART and agile, willing to work with engineering to implement automation processes, document and disseminate those processes to Guadalajara colleagues.
- Provide leadership and oversight to Mexican Finance team members.
