Are you passionate about driving business growth and helping customers transform their operations with cutting-edge technology? We are looking for a results-driven, insurance industry savvy Regional Sales Director to help us accelerate the fastest growing region within Guidewire, by proactively selling our assets into P&C insurance customers. Your role will be instrumental in achieving revenue, sales, and profit targets while building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
Our sales and marketing teams are essential to Guidewire’s success. As the insurance industry undergoes a technology-led transformation, our team members serve as trusted advisors, helping insurers navigate their digital evolution. The revenue generated by new sales ensures continued investment in our products and our expanding company, making our sales professionals critical ambassadors of the Guidewire brand.

Location & Travel
Approximately 30% travel for customer meetings in LATAM Spanish Speaking countries. Guidewire promotes flexible working practices to support work-life balance.

- Key Responsibilities
- Proactively develop business, mostly with new customers but also with installed base accounts in Latin America Spanish speaking countries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key prospects and decision-makers.
- Lead post-sale client relationships to drive product expansion and upselling opportunities.
- Own the entire sales cycle—from initial outreach to closing deals—through face-to-face meetings, calls, and digital communication.
- Conduct and participate in sales and technical presentations to clients.
- Maintain expertise in Guidewire’s technology, product offerings, and consulting services.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market insights to inform sales strategies.
- Develop compelling proposals and quotes that align with client needs while minimizing company risk.
- Provide detailed reports to management on sales and marketing activities, pipeline status, and success rates.
- Represent Guidewire at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to generate new sales opportunities.
- Utilize company systems to accurately track contacts and prospects.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales primarily working with new logos (hunter).
- Strong knowledge of the insurance industry and trends (P&C experience preferred).
- Challenger sales mindset
- Deep understanding of the enterprise sales cycle with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong ability to present and negotiate.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with mínimal supervision as part of a high performance team.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and act on new market opportunities.
