Automotive Group Leader

**Primary Objective of Position**
- Interprets specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers, and assigns duties according with supervisor work plan.
**Technical Job Functions**
- Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and directs set up and adjustment of the machine.
- Follow up on supervisor direction about equipment and people utilization in order to meet daily production requirements operations.
**Authorities and Responsibilities**
- Directly supervises employees in the line.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
**Knowledge**
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
**Communication**
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
**Interpersonal**
- Ability to demonstrate character, integrity, honesty, ethical behaviors and industriousness.
- Ability to effectively participate in teams and projects and cont.
**Education and Experience**
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Work Authorization**
