**Primary Objective of Position**- Interprets specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers, and assigns duties according with supervisor work plan.**Technical Job Functions**- Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and directs set up and adjustment of the machine.- Follow up on supervisor direction about equipment and people utilization in order to meet daily production requirements operations.**Authorities and Responsibilities**- Directly supervises employees in the line.- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.JOB REQUIREMENTS**Knowledge**- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.**Communication**- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.- Ability to write simple correspondence.- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.**Interpersonal**- Ability to demonstrate character, integrity, honesty, ethical behaviors and industriousness.- Ability to effectively participate in teams and projects and cont.**Education and Experience**Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.**Work Authorization**No calls or agencies please.
