Collection Communications Supervisor

Department Overview:
The Policy & Process department is responsible for establishing and maintaining Collections’ policies up to date with regulatory and strategy changes. We collaborate with and support Operations, Collection leadership teams, and Collection Analytics to align their business processes to company policies through process and system enhancements, drafting/updated procedures, creating internal communications for training support and external customer communications as required.
Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive collaboration and small-midsize projects between Collections, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, and other supporting functions to launch customer communication campaigns.
- Contribute to establishing and maintaining a centralized framework for customer communications, including monitoring and execution controls.
- Partner with Collection Analytics to test and implement new communication strategies, share campaign deliverability and performance results with Collections leadership team.
- Monitor campaigns dashboards for deliverability rates and escalate when they are outside acceptable standards.
- Process manual letter files with direct mail vendors until transition to automated vendor is complete.
- Cooperate and contributes to operationalizing customer campaigns in partnership with Collections to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to build and support a safe and lively environment to thrive professionally and practice ownership of self-development.
- Seek opportunities to improve department processes and identify ways in which communication campaigns can support the reduction of collection default.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management based on strategy changes and business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, professional working proficiency is a must
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in administrative support, financial services, or project management
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements that govern financial services, specifically collection practices
- Strong communications skills (written and verbal) with adaptability to different audience to drive influence, accountability, and customer engagement
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic project management skills to drive multiple small to mid-size projects in parallel
- Ability to promote an inclusive environment accepting multiple points of view, passionate about finding creative ways to achieve the desired objective
- Demonstrated ability to work on a high-performing team and establish working relationships with stakeholders that influence project outcomes
- Own reliable, high speed internet access with sufficient bandwidth to execute all job responsibilities
- 4-year college degree or equivalent working experience in Collections and financial services industry
- Intermediate to advance proficiency in MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Visio)
- Ability to learn and adapt to team collaboration tools such Confluence, JIRA, & Slack (basic knowledge is a plus)
