Whiskey Brand Ambassador

**This role is fully remote with a base location in Mexico City, Mexico.**

**What the Role Is**

The Heaven Hill Brand Ambassador - Mexico will represent Heaven Hill by promoting and assisting in selling the American Whiskey Portfolio and strategic focus brands through field sales development and education. The primary focus of the position will be to educate trade personnel on brand messaging via on premise education, mentoring and training. Additionally, the position will be a resource and mentor to distributor sale and marketing personnel. The role also includes providing guidance and direction on brand messaging, promotional tactics and mixology expertise. In this position, you will have the opportunity to use your creativity and networking skills to create a strong brand presence across various channels, including social media, events and community outreach programs.

**How You Will Spend Your Time?**
- Organize and manage trade & consumer events and independently visit on premise accounts and develop Sales leads for distributor Sales Team.
- Seek out new business opportunities, generate leads, and open new distribution points for sales team thus driving rate of sale
- Use relationships to influence managers and owners of venues, build strong and long-lasting relationships with Key accounts and influencers in the market
- Host training sessions with trade venues and groups, focused on the Evolution of Bourbon and Heaven Hill Distillery. (Training to be provided)
- Proficiency for reporting in English as role will require written monthly reports of activities.
- Increase brand awareness through use of social media relevant to the accounts and identify events and opportunities to drive sales. Partake in media interviews where necessary.
- Lead innovation initiatives for the On-Trade channel, involving different teams during the process to align the strategy and ensure that the objectives are met
- Analyze customer needs proposing new products / cocktails to recruit consumers at an accelerated pace, generating sustainable and profitable growth
- Be responsible for 100% managing the Heaven Hill portfolio with a 360 plan for bartenders, purchase managers and advocacy to the On-Trade
- Work with the distributor’s Marketing and Sales teams to align On Trade priorities and promote new business opportunities with new and existing customers
- Monitor and report market observations across American Whiskey portfolio and category
- Build brand loyalty, create and maintain a database of key contacts
- Push additional listings of our brands in Key On-Trade accounts
- Drive bar training in relevant outlets to promote Heaven Hill brands and educate the On-Trade on creating perfect serves
- Schedule, execute and provide written reports on all activities on a bi-monthly basis

**Who You Are**
- Minimum 5 years of Brand Ambassador or similar experience, with proven experience and established relationships in the On-Trade
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English required
- Functional knowledge and use of technology including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must have a mastery of the whiskey category
- Knowledge of social media and other marketing channels
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills including English reporting.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and industry professionals
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Possess reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 50%

- Advanced computer proficiency
- Fluency in languages
