Responsibility:

- Prepare statistical and administrative reports.
- Lead and manage production.
- Prepare metrics reports.
- Ensure that the department's budget is adhered to.
- Ensure compliance with production plans.
- Ensure compliance with the continuous improvement program.
- Ensure the care and safety of all personnel.
- Review production planning processes, in conjunction with production control.
- Ensure the monitoring of strategies to quickly adjust production volumes in response to increases and decreases in demand.
- Manage the adequate provision of personnel and resources to meet the demand for products and services.
- Establish links with other departments to ensure adequate and timely support for production areas.
- Lead the weekly capacity meeting to provide direction to the team.
- Ensure that staff participate in the continuous improvement program and that implementations are sustained.
- Implement lean manufacturing using the TRANSFORM program.

**Requirements**:

- Engineering, preferably electrical or mechanical. Master's degree desirable.
- 5 years or more of experience as a Production Manager in the electrical industry (essential).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques.
- Knowledge of budgeting.
- Fluent English, spoken and written.

- Master's degree or better in Engineering or related field
