Support employee’s safety, provide quality improvement initiatives, maintenance, and cost reduction. To contribute to achieve financial goals trough operations cost control on production areas.*****Position Requirements**:At a minimum, the selected individual must possess the following characteristics:- BS degree in Electronic, Industrial engineering.- + 5 years’ experience as Production manager.- Electronic / automotive manufacturing environment.- Six sigma / lean manufacturing- Strong leadership, analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.- Strong communication skills with the ability to relay operational metrics to a diverse group.- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.- Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work in teams.**Position Responsibilities**:The primary responsibilities for this position include the following:- To coordinate production lines operation to comply k metrics (quality, delivery on time, safety, and productivity)- To generate annual investment and improve productivity, quality, and costs- Identify opportunity areas to support continuous improvement projects- Participate on annual budget- Coordinate with engineering. Planning, materials, and customer service for production plans- Define required organization on production areas to accomplish area metrics- Understand and identify dangers and risks related to area operations- Report unsafe acts to EHS dept.- Participate in work health and safety programs- Notice every accident and incident that happened in companyUniversal Electronics Inc.
