**Flō Networks **is a leading provider of telecommunications services between the United States and Mexico. We provide connectivity and managed services to Fortune 1000 companies, telecommunications and cable companies through a fiber optic network that extends for 35,000 km between both countries.

We have an immediate need for a** Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)** in Mexico City, Mexico.

**The Role**:
**The Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement, and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve potential issues in both Linux and Windows environments.
- Drive automation to eliminate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency across hybrid systems.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize scalability in mixed operating system environments.
- Embrace a DevOps culture, bridging the gap between development and operations for seamless delivery.
- Integrate security best practices throughout the infrastructure and services.
- Remain updated on the latest SRE technologies, tools, and methodologies applicable to Linux and Windows systems.
- Collaborate on incident response and post-mortem analysis to prevent future occurrences.
- Propose and implement architectural improvements to enhance system resiliency

**The Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or similar role, demonstrating expertise in both Linux and Windows administration.
- Expertise in one or more programming languages (Python, Go, Java, PowerShell).
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, KVM, Proxmox).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and practices.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, KVM).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for reliability and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A desire to continuously learn and improve systems engineering practices.
- Bilingual - English and Spanish.
