As a member of the Creative team, the Traffic Coordinator will work closely with both the Creative and Account teams, coordinating people and processes to ensure that our projects are completed within scheduled budgets and deadlines. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and managing resources and flagging appropriate staff for downstream freelance staffing needs. As needed, the Traffic Coordinator will work with account managers to adjust job deadlines while still balancing and meeting the clients’ needs.

**Responsibilities**

The Creative Traffic Coordinator is the glue that keeps our teams together and must be able to perform the following essential duties and functions:

- Work with the Creative and Account teams to develop job scope, estimates, manage expectations and timelines, with the ability to push back when needed.
- Review all project requests for details, necessary assets, and files, request additional details and meet with marketing project managers to learn more about new projects.
- Give progress updates on existing projects and communicate any foreseeable issues.
- Establish, maintain, and track project timelines by assigning jobs, setting priorities, and routing projects to internal stakeholders, ensuring materials are produced with accuracy and on time.
- Quality-check all deliverables from Creative team members before routing, to ensure it follows direction and branding guideline.
- Work closely with and report to the Creative Director on project flow and provide updates on any obstacles or issues with projects or personnel.
- Balance projects and Creative team workloads daily, adjusting assignments and deadlines accordingly.
- Work with freelancers and contractors and ensure they have the resources needed for their specific projects.
- Review and approve freelance designer timecards
- Ability to use/learn Asana, an online project management software.
- Review and edit PowerPoint documents
- Excellent verbal/written communications and people management skills.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years of experience with traffic or project management
- 3+ years of experience in either an in-house or external agency creative team
- Strong understanding and operational knowledge of design and production processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Exceptional organizational skills; ability to track and maintain a number of varied projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using cloud-based project management tools such as Microsoft Teams and/or Asana is a plus
