As Mexico Electronics and Energy Sales Leader you will play a key role for Transportation and Electronics Business Group. In this role you will be able to drive Electronics and Energy vertical specific strategy into geography-specific priorities and execution plans. Develop customer intimacy and relay customer needs and opportunities related to the area vertical, works closely with area marketing activation teams to implement programs that align to vertical strategies and portfolio plans. Leverage Area Business Group Marketing Center tools and specialization to optimize business potential into area vertical, including business model, portfolio, marketing and sales priorities. Identify and execute NPI opportunities in alignment with global plans. Support sales and marketing execution planning process. Translate and execute on pricing guidelines from the division for the given vertical in the area. Manage product listings into sales districts. Develop a high performing and performance driven sales culture customer needs and opportunities.

- Leading the regional sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets, ensuring the growth and success of the company in the assigned region.- Implementing strategic sales plans and initiatives to drive market penetration and customer acquisition.- Determining market trends and customer needs to develop tailored solutions and strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.- Supporting the professional development of team members through coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback.- Willingness to be on-call to address urgent customer needs and support the sales team during critical times.

Primary Metrics- Growth above macro (OLCG vs IPI/GDP, OVG vs BCI)-
- Customer satisfaction (specific metric tbd)- A/R DSO- FG (Inventory $ NWI target) and Owned and aligned spending vs plan

Your Skills and Expertise- Bachelor´s degree Master's degree preferred- Seven (7) years of business to business (B2B) sales experience including key account sales management in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Five (5) years of salespeople management experience.- Master's degree preferred.- Proficient business acumen to include working with pricing, customer profitability, and financial impact of business decisions on distribution.- Requires use of computers, including basic Personal Computer (PC) software, specialized sales software, and on-line sales support systems. Salesforce CRM Proficiency and knowledge and experience in PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI.- High level of leadership, planning and organizational skills, emotional intelligence, negotiation, and sales closing skills.- Represents the company in a manner consistent with 3M's business conduct code and business unit expectations.- Advanced English proficiency.- Current, valid Driver’s License is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position.

Work location: Position based in Mexico, with availability to travel nationally at least one week per month.
