**BAT MEXICO IS LOOKING FOR DEMAND FORECASTING EXECUTIVE**

**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Junior Level

**FUNCTION**: Finance

**LOCATION**:Monterrey

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

This role is part of Strategy Planning & Insights, Marketing.

The role is responsible to Support the business planning process via accurate sales information analysis and demand forecasting process to ensure company plan objectives are achieved.

**Reports to: Canada TM&D / GM Manager**

**Geographic Scope**:Canada

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Build the necessary tools/models to support demand forecasting for monthly demand planning, annual demand planning and ad-hoc requests.
- Provide accurate and timely volume performance analysis to facilitate demand forecasting.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting as per the regional guidelines.
- Support Manager to manage forecasting process and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Extract sales data from relevant sources and report and maintain an accurate and updated sales information.
- Track actual sales performance against forecast, provide analysis and recommendations to Manager for remedial action.
- Track up-take of project stocks from distributor warehouse against forecast.
- Follow up on forecasting with Supply Chain Team to ensure proper stock management and highlight issues that trigger corrective action.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- 2+ years hands-on experience in data toolsets, demand planning software’s and programs, statistics, forecast modelling.
- A graduate in Engineering / Statistics / Econs / Maths /
- Good understanding of End-to-End Supply Chain Management
- Good knowledge in Excel Spreadsheet and PowerPoint software.
- Strong cognitive ability to build forecasting and tracking model from business needs.
- Strong analytical focus to be able to identify the right information source to extract sales information and maintain sales report and troubleshoot.
