Inventory and Demand Forecasting Analyst

The inventory and forecasting analyst will be responsible for providing data analysis and reporting related to product performance, demand forecasting leveraging data to optimize store inventory, and ensuring cross-functional collaboration with inventory replenishment, merchandising, marketing, and financial planning. Lead S&OP process for business.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:Develop and manage inventory reporting to monitor the performance of supply chain.Perform data analysis of product performance and make recommendations to optimize inventory.Responsible ad hoc reporting and analysis from internal business partners.Recommend product purchase quantities based on forecasts, business trends and seasonality, and promotion plans.Identify product risks and opportunities to minimize obsolete inventory while minimizing markdown exposure.Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between internal merchandising, inventory management, and marketing teams to ensure product availability.**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline, such as Supply Chain, Business or Data Analytics is required.Advanced knowledge of Power BI (Tableau) is must.Working knowledge in SQL with large dataset.5+ years of inventory planning and forecasting, data analytics experience within a multi-location environment.General understanding of demand planning, inventory management methods and related concepts.Strong analytical expertise in solving complex issues and recommend solutions.
