Job Description

Position Overview

As the Senior Manager, International Development - Mexico, you will play an integral role in developing and executing Invenergy’s renewable energy strategy and project pipeline in Mexico. The role will be based out of our Mexico City office.

Responsibilities- Oversee project development and acquisition of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in Mexico- Represent Invenergy with partners, customers, landowners, state and local officials and other stakeholders- Lead efforts to secure all local, state and/or federal permits, licenses, and authorizations- Coordinate project design, landowner engagement, financial modeling and support commercial offtake negotiations and project financing- Engage and manage third party consultants used in support of resource assessments, project designs, and permitting- Prepare and maintain project budgets and schedules- Drive negotiations and create solutions to project-specific problems and challenges- Prepare periodic project status reports and presentations for management approvals

**Required Skills**:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.- 5+ years of direct experience developing utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects.- Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties.- Experience building, managing and mentoring teams.- Strong communication skills.- Ability to travel up to 50% on a monthly basis
