Team Overview:
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operation of the facilities.
- Prepare, review, and give initial approval and as needed all budgets, financial reports (monthly and quarterly), contracts, expenditures and purchase orders related to the sites.
- Coordinate the preparation and publication of the annual budget and quarterly reforecast.
- Collect, analyze, and report statistical data to provide accurate and current assessment of facility management objectives.
- Direct teams of staff, including cleaning, maintenance and other contractors.
- Manage all contracts to ensure they are reviewed on a regular basis and are bid out as required; verify that invoices match contract pricing.
- Ensure that buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with local legislation (_permits_, _licenses_and/or authorizations).
- Identify areas that can make the building more efficient and cost effective.
- Plan and oversee building projects, renovations, or refurbishments.
Role Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or bachelor in architecture, facilities management or related is a must
- At least 6-10 years working in a related position.
- Fluent English skills to work in a diversifying and international culture;
- Strong knowledge in HSE, and government paperwork/formalities (Mexico, the other Latam countries will be a plus).
- Strong technical knowledge in facilities related equipment/infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence others, with ability to create and maintain synergy with stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dead-line-driven environment
- Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport with clients and manage expectations
- Ability to effectively be flexible in approach, and respond well to pressure
