As an Account Manager as part of RBS (Retail Business Services) RVR (Retail Vendor Recruitment) Team, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy for on-boarding new vendors for Amazon Retail.
RBS RVR team is looking for a bright, customer obsessed, data driven, and creative candidate to join our team.
The successful Account Manager is an effective listener, communicator and problem-solver with strong expertise in process optimizations and systems thinking. You will engage directly with new vendors to onboard them and multiple internal to add valuable selection to Amazon. You will utilize a wide range of negotiation skills and work across major functional areas to increase selection to add value to our final customer. In this role you will be focused on growing our business through the on-boarding of new vendors and adding selection with new Amazon vendor partners.
Also you will look into operational aspects of their business with Amazon, root cause analysis of issues and opportunities affecting the vendor’s business.
Please note that you will be expected to specifically work on transactional but business critical activities and have a hands-on approach.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and execute pricing strategies.
- Identify and onboard new vendors onboard, create catalog and add selection.
- Success will be measured by the performance of your task and deliverables on input metrics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of sales or account management experience- 2+ years of digital advertising and client facing roles experience
- Experience with Excel
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience analyzing key open issues and resolution metrics for each of the managed accounts- Experience in relationship management within technology, start-ups, or SaaS Platforms
