Position Overview:

The Legal Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the firm's legal services. This position involves managing billing coordination, providing administrative support, and handling social media management.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing Coordination:

  • Utilize Clio time tracking software to accurately calculate and record billing hours for lawyers.
  • Collaborate with lawyers to ensure timely and accurate billing submissions.
  • Maintain billing records and assist in the preparation of client invoices.

Legal Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to lawyers, assisting in keeping their workflow organized.
  • Perform other ad hoc administrative and documentation tasks as needed.

Social Media Management:

  • Craft, edit, and publish tweets on the firm's Twitter account.
  • Collaborate with lawyers to create engaging and informative content for social media.
  • Monitor and respond to social media interactions as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a legal assistant is preferred.
  • Proficient in using Clio or similar time tracking software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to draft and edit content with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Capable of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools.
