Over the two-year duration of the program, successful candidates will work in a dynamic environment combining formal and experience-based training alongside meaningful and rewarding work experience. Then, guided by experienced professionals, they will put the skills they learn into practice in a supportive corporate environment.
These positions will commence in July 2024 and will be based in CDMX.

The Claims function is meant to be a partner to the business segments, offering support, expertise, and partnership. It is through a proper and market leading claims service that all business efforts materialize the continuity of client and broker relationships in the long term. The existing diversity of the business portfolio demands from the claims role specialized expertise in the different business areas. The claims managers heading each line of business work partner with Underwriters and other key stakeholders to support a wide array of products and offerings, through a complex and highly demanding distribution force and network. Claims has the responsibility of delivering and materializing the product offer and promise. In the case of A&H this opportunity is given in even the most sensible and highly complex situations where AIG contributes to the resilience and risk management of our clients. A policy is a promise and the handling and resolution of a claim is the moment to fulfill that promise and make a significant difference.
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Project Trainee to join the Claims team reporting to the Head of Claims and in coordination to the various managers front office and support functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in managing and executing projects across various business functions and/or processes. The Project trainee will assist in planning, coordinating and implementing projects under the guidance of experienced line or functional managers within and outside the claims team.

- A lot of processes are waiting to be improved with a fresh view and listen recommendations to perform faster and better outcomes, that´s where you will come in.
- As a lean navigator you´ll have a training plan and a roadmap of processes to be analyzed and improved, but not everything is written in stone, we also want to hear your recommendations.
- Bureaucracy? We don´t want that for you, that´s why you´ll be reporting directly to the Mexico Head of Claims, also he´ll be your coach and mentor along this journey

What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile) is a plus.
- Eager to learn and develop new skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
