Reports To: COMMERCIAL CAPABILITY MANAGER

PROFILE: Learning and Development for Commercial Team Growth

Context/Scope:Vision:

Double the size of our business consistently increasing the top & bottom lines, growing our industry leadership (No 1 in value) through an adventurous growth in Whiskies, Agave, Vodka, Rum and Liqueurs.

To deliver this vision one of the required activities is to Guarantee our plans with the right people and capabilities.

Commercial capabilities strategy is to make this balanced and progressive to ignite the potential of the Business & our People through the following pillar 1) Functional Coaching 2) Diagnosis and evolution 3) Best learning practices.

Diageo has a proven position as market leader into the growing category of whisky. We want to strengthen our position in whisky category, but at the same time we have decided to expand our relevance and continue with our value creation strategy by entering in some other categories, such as tequila, rum and vodka.

Dimensions:

Responsible for capabilities strategy execution for sales organization including (Field Sales, CMO, Key Accounts).

200 Directs team & Develop trainings for Distributor customers.

Market Complexity:

Competitors are becoming more professionals in their approach with customers. We have been ahead of them, but in a changing environment we need to continue owning the way of doing business with them, including new concepts and variables into the conversation, such as category management, insight generation, customer and consumer understanding, multifunctional work, joint value creation, etc. All this just will be a reality if we develop new commercial capabilities and improve for the current ones within our entire Sales Force.

Purpose of Role: Be responsible for the Commercial Capabilities Strategy execution enablingour people to grow ahead of what the business demand to deliver the performance ambition of double the Business.

Top 3-5 Accountabilities:Lead Capability Roadmap Performance Management:

Availability To Travel.

Capabilities Certification.

Development Programs Execution. Including Tech Capabilities through internal team.

Support Sales Faculty to complete capabilities programs.Logistics based on Learning Model

Ensure the functional onboarding to accelerate learning curve for new hires and movers.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Bachelors in BA (or similar)

Experience in Learning, Capabilities, Sales Growth or any other Field Sales experiences regarding Off Trade and/or On Trade activities.

Project management skills

Influential partnership.

Confirmed analytical, planning and negotiation skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrate proactivity, initiative and determination

Understanding of multifunctional interdependencies within Diageo and high teamwork skills

Sophisticated English Level

Proficient Office
