The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Supervisor is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to manage a team of clerical/support employees and apply analytical thinking/knowledge of data analysis methodologies to create and analyze reports that gauge Citi’s alignment with forecasted performance.

Responsibilities:

Conduct supervisory actions such as training, evaluations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination of team members Conduct analysis of Citi’s/Citi’s competitors’ financial performance Generate flash results/highlights of analytics for Board of Directors’ reports and Executive Management reports Contribute to Quarterly Competitor Reviews, Quarterly Annotated Supplement, and Quarterly Investment Reports Develop and coordinate processes such as performance reporting, the annual 3-year strategic and Operating planning, CCAR PPNR Forecasts and periodic forecasting processes; review results against plans monthly. Oversee the estimation of risk capital and incorporate results into management reports and decision processes Participate in business analysis functions performed by Business Unit Managers (BUMs) Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Ability to manage teams.  Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

2-5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance Experience in financial services preferred Previous supervisory experience Knowledge of financial, analytical, and reporting tools Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications Demonstrated analytical skills Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Experiencia en compañías de Seguros, particularmente en procesos financieros, conocimiento técnico de seguros, conocimiento del mercado de Seguros en México y estar familiarizado con contabilidad local y US GAAP.
