Job Description


We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technical Services and Engineering Manager to join our team.


The Technical Services and Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Process Engineering, Laboratory, Projects Engineering and Condition Monitoring and Inspection departments within our organization.


This individual will play a crucial role in the development and execution of various technical service and engineering initiatives that are vital to the success of our operations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing the Process Engineering department to ensure efficient and effective operation of production processes and related systems.


  • Leading the Laboratory department to ensure the development and implementation of accurate and reliable testing procedures and protocols.


  • Managing the Projects Engineering department to oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects, including design, construction, and commissioning.


  • Directing the Condition Monitoring and Inspection department to ensure the proper assessment and maintenance of equipment and infrastructure.


  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize operational performance.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives related to technical services and engineering.


  • Providing leadership and guidance to a team of skilled professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and environmental requirements.

Gerente de Servicios Técnicos e Ingeniería altamente experimentado y capacitado para unirse a nuestro equipo.


Es responsable de dirigir y gestionar los departamentos de Ingeniería de Procesos, Laboratorio, Ingeniería de Proyectos y Monitorización de Condiciones e Inspección en la organización.


Esta persona desempeñará un papel crucial en el desarrollo y ejecución de varias iniciativas de servicios técnicos e ingeniería que son vitales para el éxito de nuestras operaciones.


Responsabilidades clave:


  • Supervisar el departamento de Ingeniería de Procesos para garantizar el funcionamiento eficiente y eficaz de los procesos de producción y los sistemas relacionados.


  • Dirigir el departamento de Laboratorio para garantizar el desarrollo y la aplicación de procedimientos y protocolos de ensayo precisos y fiables.


  • Supervisar la planificación y ejecución de los proyectos de ingeniería, incluyendo el diseño, la construcción y la puesta en marcha.


  • Dirigir el departamento de Monitorización e Inspección de Condiciones para garantizar la evaluación y el mantenimiento adecuados de los equipos y las infraestructuras.


  • Colaborar con equipos interfuncionales para impulsar iniciativas de mejora continua y optimizar el rendimiento operativo.


  • Desarrollando e implementando planes estratégicos e iniciativas relacionadas con los servicios técnicos y la ingeniería.
  • Proporcionar liderazgo y orientación a un equipo de profesionales cualificados, fomentando una cultura de innovación, colaboración y excelencia.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de todas las normas reglamentarias, directrices de seguridad y requisitos medioambientales.

Requisitos:
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field,
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in technical services and engineering roles within the chemical or petrochemical industry.
  • Proven track record of successful leadership and management of technical teams and projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of process engineering, laboratory operations, and project management principles.
  • Strong understanding of condition monitoring and inspection practices and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools related to technical engineering and project management.
  • Fluency in English

  • Licenciatura en Ingeniería Química o de Procesos.
  • Un mínimo de 15 años de experiencia en servicios técnicos y funciones de ingeniería dentro de la industria química o petroquímica.
  • Historial probado de liderazgo y gestión con éxito de equipos técnicos y proyectos.
  • Conocimientos profundos de ingeniería de procesos, operaciones de laboratorio y principios de gestión de proyectos.
  • Sólidos conocimientos de las prácticas y metodologías de supervisión de estado e inspección.
  • Excelentes dotes de comunicación, negociación y resolución de problemas.
  • Capacidad para priorizar y gestionar con eficacia múltiples proyectos y tareas simultáneamente.
  • Dominio del software y las herramientas pertinentes relacionadas con la ingeniería técnica y la gestión de proyectos.
  • Fluidez en idioma Ingles
