Description

We are hiring an experienced and highly skilled Demand Data Modeler who will be responsible for global demand forecasting by optimizing time series model selection and leveraging machine learning (ML) capabilities within SAP Integrated Business Planning for Supply Chain (IBP) software to support a baseline forecast for demand planners. What you will be doing: Define and continuously improve forecasting models within IBP demand module. Identify trends and patterns in data and provide insights to support business decisions. Evaluate opportunities to improve forecast accuracy by considering internal or external data sources for extraneous variables. Develop and implement data cleaning and transformation techniques to ensure data accuracy and consistency, including imputation and outlier removal. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and requirements. Create data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders. Continuous monitoring for data quality and accuracy Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, specifically new techniques supported by IBP and its community. Who you are Required Skills and Competencies: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on time-series analysis and forecasting. Preferred Skills and Competencies Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Experience with statistical analysis tools such as R or Python. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
