The integration of water purification and on-demand dialysate production enables Tablo to serve as a dialysis clinic on wheels, with 2-way wireless data transmission and a proprietary data analytics platform powering a new holistic approach to dialysis care.**Position Overview**:Outset Medical imports and exports materials in North America daily, and we are looking for Logistics Coordinator to help San Jose Head Quarter team to manage logistics, inventory and import/export efficiently. This position is based in Mexico and reported into Corporate Headquarter team in San Jose.**Responsibilities and Duties**:- Work with corporate management to achieve company productivity and performance objectives based on lead time projects.- Oversee independent motor carriers, import/export and maintain positive working relationships- Conflict resolution**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**- Import/Export and Customs processes.- Knowledge of compliance regulations for IMMEX programs.- Process requested reports for Import and Export to analyze information transmitted to Customs, (Values, tariffs, quantity, IGI, IVA, PROSEC, R8, USMCA, Sub-Maquila, pedimento review and approvals.- Work with shippers and carriers to manage pickups and deliveries, transport costs and efficiency.- Ensure shipments are delivered on time and maintain compliance with USMCA, DOT, TSA regulations.- Make clear communication of service expectations to all carriers, and keep all related parties updated.- Consistently follow up to ensure that loads are moving according to schedule and customers expectations.- Perform assigned administrative and other tasks or duties as requested by management.- Track and report shipment status to Account Managers, Buyers, customer service, and field service teams.- Manage multiple deliveries, process spot requests and communicate any transit issues to respective parties.- Identify and secure the best optimized transportation options.- Invoice audits and approvals.- Perform immediate follow up and reporting to management of any exception to company practices, procedures or problems encountered both with shippers and carriers.- By using available industry tools and relationships, verify and resolve issues with carriers and distribution partners, under the supervision of management.- React with sense of urgency to solve problems and look for ways to improve operational inefficiencies.- Develop and maintain positive relationship with multiple carriers to increase buying power.**Required Qualifications**- 7+ years of experience B.A., B.S. or equivalent - import/ export and logistics focus, business.- Excellent communications skills, **Fluent in English**, analytical skills and recognition of importance of customer expectations and adherence to company policies.**Desired Qualifications**- Reliability, punctuality and following of both customer and company schedules.- Proven experience as logistics coordinator and Import/ Export specialist.- Experience in customer service will be appreciated- Knowledge of Mexican Maquiladora laws and regulations- Ability to be coached and accountablePrivacy is important to us.
