The Value Optimization Engineer should support VOD (Value Optimization Driver) North America:- Planning, validating and implementing cost reduction activities and projects, regarding your perimeter/sub-system, focused in the North America region.- Working with the engineering team, VO EES team, suppliers, vehicle integration, purchasing, quality, finance and other cross-functional teams to study ideas feasibility and execute changes to reduce material costs with no degradation in quality or customer experience.- Tracking regional results by your subsystem/commodity and controlling the implementation gates and roadblocks.- Escalating discussions when needed and supporting the Central VO team with planning, DMC reduction, and their associated business cases.- Interacting globally with other regional counterparts in efforts aimed at maximizing cross pollination of ideas considering technical proposals.- Support VO Benchmarking and idea generation team for technical ideas generation.- Working with metafunction for Technical Feasibility and economical evaluation of the proposals.- Support Central VO (VOM) in the technical analysis- Provide technical support to stakeholders (Quality, PDO and Brand) in order to enable approval of generated ideas.Our benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
