Â If you're ready to make an impact and grow with a team that values your perspective, let's connect**What you'll be doing**- Own monthly AR reserve calculations and prepare quarterly trend analyses, with a focus on accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.- Manage AR-related quarterly controls ensuring compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements.- Conduct monthly financial statement flux analysis and reconciliations with precision and timeliness.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on revenue-impacting transactions and provide historical revenue insights to support forecasting and strategic planning.- Contribute to the development and maintenance of departmental memos outlining revenue accounting policies and procedures.- Support the annual audit process by preparing required AR disclosures and delivering requested documentation and analyses.**What you bring to the role**- A sharp eye for detail and top-notch organizational skills that keep everything running smoothly.- Analytical strength and problem-solving skills that turn challenges into opportunities.- Skillful in crafting ad hoc reports, using powerful data formulas to deliver insights management can act on.- The ability to excel and stay calm in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where every day brings something new.**Preferred Qualifications**- CPA or equivalent certification- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)- 5 to 7 years General accounting and/or Revenue accounting- Hands-on experience with NetSuite accounting software, including a solid understanding of its features, reporting tools, and best practices**Where We Work**Zendesk is not your average tech company.
