Established in 1874, we have grown to become the world leader in mining and civil blasting with a diverse of team of more than 13,000 across the world.It’s an exciting time to join us - we are shaping the future of mining through digital and automated technologies, embracing new ways of thinking, pioneering innovation and reimagining the way we work.**About the role**:**What you will be doing**:- Drive implementation and embedment of Orica SHES Department SHES assurance processes and programs;- Maintain, analyze and compile regular reports of SHES data from the Enablon system in the Region;- Advise and coach users on the efiicient use of Enablon and Power BI;- Verify and ensure compliance with Orica’s Group standards and procedures, and implement corrective actions to address findings;- Manage compliance with relevant regulatory requirements that are associated with day-to-day operations relevant to the occupational health requirements in the NA Region;- Guide and coach management on the interpretation of legislative requirements, and administrative aspects of the SHES department;- General administration to achieve a regular cadence in SHES assurance review, planning and positive SHES culture;- Coach and support leaders to conduct and review ICAM investigations including identifying direct and root causes, and support identification and tracking of corrective actions.- Collaborate with other internal and external specialist for collaborating on best practise and the improvement agenda relevant to the position and its requirements;- Drive the implementation and management of preventive and mitigating controls to manage SHES material risks, particularly in the area of occupational health;- Any other activities deemed appropriate for SHES Administration or Occupational Health by the Manufacturing Centre, Sub-Regional Area or Group.**What you will bring**:- REQUIRED- Engineering or science degree in fields related to occupational health & safety or similar- English CONVERSATIONAL proficiency- Field experience is crucial to the role.- Proficiency in EXCEL and Powerpoint is a minimum requirement.- Minimum 7 years in related SHES areas of work- PREFERRED- Enablon expertise is an advantage.**What we offer**:As part of a truly global company, you will have the ability to grow and learn in a diverse, collaborative culture.
