Regional BDR Team Manager Canonical is a leading provider of open‑source software and operating systems to the global enterprise and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in breakthrough enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT. With over 1,200 colleagues in 75+ countries, Canonical is a pioneer of global distributed collaboration, offering a largely remote working model with occasional in‑person team sprints. We are expanding our sales and field engineering teams globally, including our Sales Development Representative (SDR) organization. In this role, you will manage and mentor a successful team of 2–10 SDRs/BDRs, maintain a multi‑million‑dollar pipeline, and drive inbound and outbound lead generation for a global tech company. Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing SDR/BDR team. Define and execute go‑to‑market strategies for inbound and outbound lead generation. Maintain and grow a multi‑million‑dollar pipeline, ensuring early qualification and hand‑off to the sales organization. Track and analyze team performance data to continuously improve results. Collaborate across teams to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Qualifications Excellent academic record at school and university. Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business or STEM. Passion for business development, sales and technology. Track record of achieving exceptional outbound sales development results. Commitment to continuous learning and improvement – curious, flexible, scientific. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to collaborate across teams. Leadership experience in one form or another. Proficiency in using data to drive team activities and continuous improvement. What we offer Distributed work environment with twice‑yearly team sprints in person.
