Driven by our purpose, to safeguard life, property, and the environment, we empower our customers and their stakeholders with facts and reliable insights so that critical decisions can be made with confidence.As a trusted voice for many of the world’s most successful organizations, we use our knowledge to advance safety and performance, set industry benchmarks, and inspire and invent solutions to tackle global transformations.**About the role**:DNV is seeking a Verification Engineer in Energy Systems and will have a special focus on implementation in the Region of North America.The position will be based out of any of our DNV offices in Mexico.**What You'll Do**- Perform verification assessments of oil and gas equipment and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations- Evaluate design documentation, specifications, and test results to verify adherence to applicable codes- Create comprehensive verification plans outlining the scope, methodologies, and acceptance criteria for different projects- Collaborate with project teams to align verification activities with project timelines and milestones- Identify potential risks associated with the design and implementation of oil and gas projects- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the overall safety and reliability of the systems- Engage with clients to understand their specific requirements and expectations for verification activities- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on compliance issues and best practices- Stay abreast of industry regulations, codes, and standards relevant to the oil and gas sector- Ensure that verification processes align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for verification activities- Conduct audits to verify that verification processes are consistently applied and meet company and industry standards- Generate comprehensive technical reports documenting verification activities, findings, and recommendations- Maintain accurate records of verification processes and outcomes for future reference and auditing purposes- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, project managers, and clients, to facilitate effective communication and integration of verification activities- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the verification workflow- Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of verification processes- Provide training and mentorship to junior verification engineers or other team members- Share knowledge and best practices to build a strong and competent verification team- Act as Bid Manager for upcoming Opportunities- Act as Project Manager for simple and regular projects**What we offer**:- Generous PTO (Vacation, Sick Days, Company Holidays, Personal Days)- Vacation bonuses pay- Group health insurance plan- Group retirement plan with company match- Education reimbursement program- Company-provided life insurance plan- Flexible work schedule with hybrid/remote opportunities**Benefits may vary based on position, tenure, location, and employee election**How We Do It**We Care, We Dare, We ShareDNV is a proud equal-opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
