Materials Manager

**Description**:Ensure customer receipt correct quantity on time according to demand, maintaining inventory control of plant (warehouses and all locations), Coordinate the planning activities across the site, monitoring strategies to increase the profitability of the organization through continuous improvement.**Key Responsibilities**:- Manages, controls, and directs staff to achieve Materials profit and loss goals including minimization of excess and obsolete inventory.- Ensures the timely delivery of materials at the most economical cost, consistent with quality standards, affecting quality by assuring that suspicious material is identified, and that material is handled, stored, and delivered properly.- Coordinates with customers, purchasing, project managers, operations managers, and warehouse managers.- In charge of accurate inventory cycle counts, and controls.- Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems.- Reviews, plans, and approves purchase orders and change notices.- Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:- More than 5 years leading work teams.- More than 5 years of experience in management positions.- Experience in handling electronic components.- knowledge of the JD Eduards system (E1)**About Franklin Electric**:More than just a workplace, Franklin Electric is a vibrant and inclusive community of forward-thinkers, united by our mission to drive positive impact worldwide.
