No Relocation Assistance Offered - San Jose Iturbide, Guanajuato, Mexico**Position Summary**:Manage human and material resources to keep the equipment and facilities in the best conditions, maximizing their operation, reducing unplanned stoppages and improving the equipment to achieve the objectives of the productive area, within the framework of continuous improvement, having as main reference: safety, quality, productivity, order and cleanliness.**Responsibilities**:SECURITY- Follow-up to safety guidelines, risk identification and Near Miss surveys.- Ensure that their equipment has the appropriate certifications before carrying out a job- Authorize and validate work permits- Safe Conduct Walkthroughs and Closure of Safety FindingsQUALITY- Coordinate and carry out instrument maintenance and verification activities following good manufacturing practices and quality procedures.- Keep your work area clean and tidy.- Notify, report and attend to anomalies in the detected equipment.PRODUCTIVITY- Prepare annual preventive and predictive maintenance program and continuous improvement.- Coordinate, request and control spare parts and / or services for equipment maintenance.- Supervise preventive and predictive corrective maintenance.- Supervise the specific activities of its technicians.- Manage and control the maintenance expenses of the area.- Coordinate with production leaders in the execution of maintenance and improvements.- Select coordination teams with project leaders.- Supervise equipment operation.The position may require support outside of the mixed operations role to analyze, train, or execute the aforementioned standards.Being these activities descriptive but not limiting, all those that the same production demands will be covered.**What do you need for the position?**- Industrial, chemical, food, mechatronic or related engineer.- At least 3 years in similar operations.- Advanced English.- Knowledge of continuous improvement tools.Equal Opportunity EmployerColgate is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, disability, marital status, veteran status (United States positions), or any other characteristic protected by law.Colgate-Palmolive is a leading global consumer products company, tightly focused on Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care and Pet Nutrition.
