Today, we continue to lead because we have a world-class, diverse workforce that puts the customer at the center of everything we do.**About the role**:Ensure material availability by meeting CMX objectives, planning, controlling, and managing purchases using appropriate purchasing methods (MRP, JIT, Kanban). Develop strategies and procedures for purchase order execution based on demand changes, ensuring efficient production lines. Control inventory levels and manage excess and obsolete inventory resulting from Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).**Key Responsibilities**:As a Buyer (Materials Planner), you will:- Create purchase orders to fulfill raw material needs for the plant.- Reschedule purchase orders based on plant changes to maintain optimal inventory levels.- Ensure supplier adherence to delivery times specified in purchase orders (On-Time Delivery - OTD) and develop action plans for suppliers who do not meet required metrics.- Analyze and implement inventory reduction strategies and implement tools for process optimization (Excess & Obsolete inventory management, material coverage, Lean principles).- Negotiate supplier service regarding delivery times and quantities of raw materials to be purchased.- Support Engineering projects to ensure successful material implementation.- Track supplier payments to ensure timely processing.- Ensure material requirements and coverage for Kanban & JIT production lines.- Comply with corporate programs and training.**Requirements**:We are looking for driven and results-oriented individuals. If this describes you, we encourage you to apply.**Minimum Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Relations, or International Trade.- 3+ years of experience in purchasing./materials management/materials planning.- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).- Intermediate Excel skills.- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle).- Solid understanding of purchasing and manufacturing processes.- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.- Practical experience with Kanban and Just-in-Time (JIT) methodologies.**Benefits**:We are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all our employees and enhancing our programs as needed.
