The Manager Strategic Sourcing enhances business profitability, ensures sustained competitive advantage, and delivers operational excellence by acquiring services from qualified suppliers at competitive prices through sensible planning and careful purchasing.**SCOPE**The Manager Strategic Sourcing performs complex technical activities related to the purchasing of services in accordance with business strategy, company policy, and regulatory environment. Under limited direction, he/she will research, evaluate, and purchase services based on price, capability, and quality.**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**- Initiates bid/quote process; writes bid specifications & prepares bid forms; manages the bidding process; analyzes bid results; makes recommendations & awards.- Determines & develops supplier portfolio strategy; Identifies suitable suppliers based on price, quality, availability, reliability, and technical capabilities; Maintains cooperative supplier working relationships.- Negotiates prices, contract terms & conditions, service deliverables.- Prepares contract documentation: Reviews documentation for completeness, accuracy, risks.- Utilizes procurement tools to manage bid/quote process and contract administrative activities.- Actively participates in key stakeholder & department reviews to understand client needs.- Stays current with market trends by interviewing suppliers, attending conferences, taking on-site tours, and researching trade journals & publications.- Designs and Runs RFIs and RFQs**REQUIREMENTS**- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred), supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent- 5+ years related experience (Procurement)- Project Management Skills- Conversant in English with excellent communication and organizational skills- Critical thinking- Strong analytical skills; Comfortable working with complex data sets and modern systems- Capability to quickly learn and interpret complex technical rules, regulations, and requirements.- Ability to perform work with sound judgement, confidence, accuracy, confidentiality, and promptness.**GENERAL KNOWLEDGE**- Mexico Domestic Transportation & Distribution Market- Mexico-USA Cross Border Transportation & Distribution Market- Category Management for: Road Freight, Warehousing, Small Parcel- Modern Procurement Methods- Business Planning and Strategic Planning- Negotiation- Contract Administration- Supplier Relationship Management- Logistics & Supply Chain Operations- Database Design (Access, Tableau, Qlik); Word Processing & Spreadsheets (Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $18,000.00 - $35,000.00 al mesHorario:- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 8 horasPrestaciones:- Caja de ahorro- Estacionamiento gratuito- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Seguro de la vista- Vales de despensaLugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
