Supplier Developer Engineer

Then we have an interesting position in Grundfos for you_**What is the job about?**As a Supplier Developer Engineer, you will carry through improvements of suppliers’ quality, make analysis and reports regarding capability of suppliers and their processes, you will lead & participate in projects with inputs on how to secure the required level of quality, and be Responsible for certain product categories for technical purposes.This position reports to our WU & AMR Supplier Quality Manager and will be an onsite position working at the San Luis Potosi, Mexico facility.**Your main responsibilities**:- Request and follow up improvements from suppliers of Casting, Machining and OEM components.- Escalation points in cases of urgent issues like supplier related production stop or recall (Red alert case handler), fast stock replacement, etc.- Quality approval of new suppliers.- Selection of suppliers of new products in the assigned technical categories/groups.- Define an audit plan for his/her commodity, based on historical results and future expectations, with cooperation with Category Managers, local buyers and SQM groups.- Communicate the audit plan, Take follow-up on the audit actions.- Develop the given supplier base, which can fulfil the current and future requirements.- Escalate quality issues to potential red alert to Management.- Build active cooperation on local, regional and/or global level of members.- Work- and carry out action list, based on his/her supplier base and/or category to improve their quality performance.- Quality training of employees in cases where Quality department is involved.**Your background**We imagine that you have:- Bachelor’s degree on an Engineering field (Mechanical, Electro-mechanical or Materials Engineering preferably).- Technical knowledge / experienced in casting and machining processes.- Experienced on APQP, PPAP and Run and Rate processes- Experienced on System, Process and Product audits- ISO 9001:2015 standard experienced (other standards would be good to have, but not required)- Experienced on leading projects.**What’s in it for you?**What are your goals?
