Within the Autonomy & Positioning division your work will contribute to the operation of our brand NovAtel.**The Location**: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is home-based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.**Responsibilities**:- Work in collaboration with suppliers to communicate and implement NovAtel procurement strategies to achieve on time delivery and high-quality performance- Coordinate purchasing activities with suppliers to acquire materials to meet customer requirements, processing purchase orders and actioning MRP change messages- Monitor the delivery of Kan Ban and MRP deliveries of assigned portfolio to ensure the highest quality, on-time delivery, and cost are being met- Provide leadership and direction with suppliers to reduce lead-times while maintaining quality to meet customer and project schedules- Assist NPI projects in selecting appropriate vendors and promoting use of the preferred vendor list- Oversee RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes to meet service and project requirements- Facilitate the flow of information and collaboration with project management, engineering, and supply chain by following Hexagon A&P NPI processes- Proactively identify potential supply risks and provide mitigation plans to suppliers to meet and achieve service levels and project schedulesQualifications:**Must-Have**:- 3+ years’ experience of procurement, planning, sourcing within a high technology electronics manufacturing or contract manufacturing environment- 1+ year experience with product development (NPI)- Experience and use of ERP/MRP, Kanban, Safety stock, and visual manufacturing systems- Strong analytical skills, business acumen and negotiating skills in dealing with supporting functions (Engineering, Supply Chain, Suppliers and Operations)- Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office, Advanced Microsoft Office Excel, including the use of macros, Word, and Outlook**Key Success Factors**:- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize, and be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a positive team environment- Strong written and spoken communication skills- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail- Adapts information/style to audience, explains difficult issues clearly, establishes consensus and attains agreement and builds rapport with stakeholders- Strength in promptly solving moderate to complex problems- Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with a “can do attitude”**Nice-to-Have**:- Bachelor's degree or related education in Business, Supply Chain or Operations- Preferred experience in electronics manufacturing supply chain- Capable to read basic information on data sets, drawing specs, bills of materials- Experience working in a continuous improvement environment- Power BI or other data analytics tools
