This role will be based in Mexico and will oversee all local Human Resource responsibilities and activities.***What You Will Do**:- Lead employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including HRIS entry, systems/laptop procurement, initiating internal system access, Payroll set up, exit interviews, and benefit enrollment and termination.- Partnering with our Payroll vendor to ensure accuracy of payments made for salary and variable compensation.- Maintain office services for the Mexico headquarters by organizing office operations and procedures including controlling internal communications, managing corporate events, and recording employee bill-backs and cross charging.- Responsible HR administrative processes related to benefits, HRIS, Leaves of Absence, Vacation Pay, and Sick Leave.- Works closely with Corporate HR, the Country Manager, and management to improve engagement, morale, productivity, and retention.- Support the Americas Internship Program by working closely with the Talent and Engagement Specialist as well as local hiring managers to fill approved opportunities.- Manages local recruiting strategies in support of Altair’s customer needs; provides recommendations to Country Manager and Hiring Manager for recruiting and retention of talent.- Maintains in-depth knowledge of local, legal requirements related to daily employee management to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory & audit compliance.
