Software Product Manager

**A brief description of the job**Thiio's Software Product Managers deal with owning and handling the complete life cycle of a product or line of products. This process includes planning, writing product specifications based on customer and market needs, producing, and managing product engineering specifications, as well as determining when and how to discontinue product life-cycles. The ultimate role of product management is to ensure the products Thiio delivers, meet customers’ needs and wants, based on analytical feedback, qualification, and quantification and built on scientific models.**WHO it takes to do the job **(personality, temperament, professional traits)- Someone that understands how to build bridges between customers and engineering personalities- Pays attention to detail and work with little supervision- You are VERY organized- Be passionate about building long-term relationships- Must have a positive attitude internally and externally- Willing to work weekends and different shifts, if necessary- Eager to learn and learns quickly- Enjoy problem-solving- Confident but not cocky- Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency- Enjoy being a member of a team and be a team player but can also work independently.- Be honest, discreet and maintain company confidentiality- Has empathy for our customers- Be motivated by satisfying customers and have a desire to succeed- Treat people with respect inside and outside the company- Be proud of your career path and be a company ambassador- Be an effective communicator verbally and electronically- Be flexible and cooperative- Enjoy a fast-paced environment- Ability to travel domestically and internationally- Ability to multi-task and follow-up on completed work- You must be a self-starter and self-directed and able to work with mínimal supervision both on your own and in teams, alongside team members from the following areas: software development, data engineering, digital media, marketing automation, data visualization, data science, UX, CX, content development, creative, brand strategy, and customer account service**Some highlights of WHAT you will be doing **(at a minimum)- Use Project Management skills to develop and track Thiio's technical products from cradle to grave.- Work to identify opportunities to improve product quality by leveraging industry best practices.- Work closely with clients to understand their unique technology stacks, scheduling, and expectations to ensure smooth onboarding onto the Thiio system.- Be a super-user of Thiio's products and services, conduct user-labs, and assist sales by performing product demonstrations.- Interview customers and turn their stated technical needs into software development roadmaps.- Collaborate with clients directly on an ongoing basis to help them improve and or fix anything not functioning properly for them as it relates to Thiio.- Participate in software development Scrum Sprints, set deadlines and track quality- Manage account implementation- Select customers and manage, beta testing, releasing- Write release notes and distribute to customers- Manage and reporting on controlled releases- Build long-term relationships with your assigned customers- Ensure communication with customers is frequent and affective- Communicate with clarity, proper grammar, and correct spelling- Develop a relationship strategy that is specific to customer needs- Prepare and deliver reports to customers and internally- Advocate customer requests internally- Set customer expectations regarding product performance effectively- Train customers on company SOP’s, workflows, and technologies- Look for additional sales opportunities with assigned customers- Manage contract and company workflow compliance- Administer customer satisfaction surveys and deliver results- Help build a technical customer advisory board and build consensus on prioritizing development roadmap priorities- Make presentations to customers and the company- Other duties as assigned**WHAT it takes to do the job **(skills, experience, education, training, certificates, etc.)- At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing job- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience- Fluent in English and Spanish- Experience with Atlassian Suite, especially with Jira- Expert Project Management skills and tools- Excellent verbal and electronic communication skills- Experience with Agile software development processes- Without being a software developer, understand the processes that go into writing code and quality testing- Be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship or reside in Mexico and work remotely in either place- Understand e-commerce, social media, digital logistics and metrics- Excellent grammar and vocabulary skills- Experience with e-commerce technology stacks- Have the ability to travel 10% of your time**How you will know you are successful**- Feedback from your customers
