BEPC Mexico, a division of BEPC Incorporated, provides and manages consulting services for Automotive and Medical device companies throughout Mexico and around the globe. BEPC Inc. is seeking a proactive and experienced Cybersecurity Engineer with a strong background in systems engineering, data management, and industrial cybersecurity. This role is critical to protecting industrial equipment, endpoints, and manufacturing environments, while ensuring compliance with corporate cybersecurity standards and industry frameworks. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with the ability to assess risks, implement security controls, and support cybersecurity initiatives across IT and OT environments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and support cybersecurity projects related to endpoint protection, removable media security, and industrial environments . Execute and maintain hardware and endpoint security solutions , including USB/flash drive control systems. Perform vulnerability analysis and vulnerability management , identifying risks and recommending mitigation actions. Implement and manage security controls for endpoints (EDR/XDR) and industrial assets. Monitor security events and participate in incident detection, response, and remediation activities. Support network security operations , including firewall management, segmentation, and IDS/IPS monitoring. Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure secure integration of systems. Conduct risk assessments for IT and OT assets and ensure alignment with cybersecurity best practices. Provide technical guidance and awareness to users on secure data handling and device usage. Ensure compliance with internal cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Strong background in Systems Engineering, data management, and security analysis. Experience in vulnerability assessment and management tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or similar platforms. Hands-on experience implementing endpoint security controls (EDR/XDR). Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including: NIST ISO/IEC 27001 CIS Controls Solid understanding of network security, including: Firewalls IDS/IPS Experience with monitoring and incident response processes. Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and controls. Familiarity with OT / Industrial cybersecurity environments (PLC, SCADA, manufacturing systems) is highly desirable. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Systems Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role within manufacturing, industrial, or maquiladora environments. Experience working on-site and collaborating with cross-functional technical teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
