Senior Tax Analyst

We are hiring a **Senior **Tax Analyst **who will be supporting our Finance Global and local team in various Tax and Tax accounting related operations.**What You Will Be Doing**:- Prepare and Submit Monthly Federal and State Tax Returns (ISR, ISR Ret, ISN, ISN Ret, VAT)- Assist on preparation and submission of Annual Tax Return- Prepare and Submit DIOT and Electronic Accounting- Prepare all type of reports for authorities (Secretary of Economy, INEGI, IMMEX, RNIE)- Coordinate Statutory Reports to be delivered to external Auditors and Advisors (Financial Statements, Transfer Price and Actuarial Study)- Monthly Preparation of Tax Invoices- Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet tax accounts- Prepare Monthly Financial Statements for statutory purposes.- Prepare and submit all tax journal entries.**Required Skills and Competencies**- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.- Minimum of 5 years of applicable and shown work experience.- Have worked and know about SAT, IMSS and other Mexican Authorities.- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP-system, preferred.- Excel proficiency is a must.- Advanced English is a must.- Experience at least 1 year in manufacturing or maquila, preferred.**Preferred Skills and Competencies**- Ability to recognize and suggest opportunities for continuous process improvement and ability to interact with various levels of the organization to communicate problems and risks.- Ability to work on a team and lead assigned areas; ability to meet time limits and proactively communicate issues as they arise.- Technical Skills - Demonstrates detailed knowledge in Mexican statutory accounting as well as proficiency in Mexican tax law. Experience in preparing financial documents and filing periodic tax and informative declarations.- Strong business knowledge that can be adapted to various situations to enable problem-solving.- Possesses a high degree of analytical skillset. Can settle causes of more sophisticated problems and implement solutions as requested that align with the overall Finance and business strategy; ability to think critically and strategize with every level of the company to achieve results.- Effective communicator to different leaders and individual contributors of the company; experience in communicating with both internal and external stakeholder’s; comfortable in expressing dissenting points of view, ability to communicate rationale in a professional manner; can lead meetings/presentations and offer poignant insights to those in the organization.**Why People Choose to Work With Us**:- At Steelcase, we put people at the center of everything we do.
