IT Specialist Shopfloor Device Management

TasksOperate, maintain, and develop standard management solutions for networked devices in manufacturing facilities, as part of a global team. Evaluate and define new standard device types and configurations. Provide IT Infrastructure technical advice on networked devices in manufacturing facilities for Local IT.- Ensure cybersecurity compliance in operation of Android and Linux devices (handheld scanners, edge gateways, IoT devices etc)- Support manufacturing locations in deployment of such devices- Support IT and Engineering competencies in related projects- Follow-the sun support through presence in all regions- Provide support and participate in project implementation (new or change in MES Infrastructure) related to the IT Tire Infrastructure for the tire plants.- Plans, manages, and executes project and project tasks assigned- Provide guidance and support to LITM- Collects, maintains, and publishes key IT service measurement and statistics for regional reporting purpose**Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S.) in Computer Science or similar I.T. discipline- Ensure cybersecurity compliance in operation of Android and Linux devices (handheld scanners, edge gateways, IoT devices etc)- Support manufacturing locations in deployment of such devices- Support IT and Engineering competencies in related projects- Follow-the sun support through presence in all regions- Provide support and participate in project implementation (new or change in MES Infrastructure) related to the IT Tire Infrastructure for the tire plants.- Plans, manages, and executes project and project tasks assigned- Provide guidance and support to LITMCollects, maintains, and publishes key IT service measurement and statistics for regional reporting purposeAbout usContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
