Location: Guadalupe, N,L.**BASIC FUNCTION**Under the direction of the Mgr- EHS & Security, is responsible for developing and coordinate the implementation of safety, hygiene, and ergonomic programs at the facility.**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**Coordinate the efforts of the safety committee.Coordinate the efforts of the ergonomics committee.Participate on the incidents investigation process.Provide follow up to the implementation of the corrective actions derived of the incidents investigation process.Provide training to the associates involved on the incidents investigation process.Perform the incidents analysis.Develop the planned safety inspections.Participate on the safety inspection process.Provide follow up to the implementation of the corrective actions to eliminate/control the hazards identified through the safety inspection process.Provide training to the associates involved on the safety inspection process.Participate on the annual Corporate Compliance Inspections.Provide follow up to the completion of the annual Corporate Compliance Inspections.Perform the PPE Assessment of the job positions.Participate on the creation/review of the Job Safety Analysis (SOP/JSA).Provide training to the associates involved on the SOP/JSA process.Participate on the certification of the drivers of PIV’s**Skills/Requirements****EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**EDUCATION:Preference Bachelor’s Degree.EXPERIENCE:Preference 4 - 7 years’ work experience in the safety, hygiene and ergonomics.FORMATION:SKILLS:TraitsCritical: Cautiousness, Thoroughness, External Structure, Aggressiveness, Self-Structure, Urgency, Assertiveness, Abstract Reasoning Ability, Ego-Strength, Energy, Risk-Taking.Supporting: Ego-drive, Empathy, Gregariousness, Idea Orientation, and Sociability.BehaviorsCritical: Is persistent; confidently expresses ideas and opinions; copes with rejection; recognizes problems, issues and opportunities; gathers and analyzes data; creates new concepts and approaches to solve problems; learns from mistakes; independently sets goals, objectives and priorities; manages multiple tasks and activities; follows established policies and procedures; works quickly.Supporting: Persuasively sells ideas to gain support and buy-in; develops new contacts and initiates relationships; maintains existing relationships; demonstrates an eagerness to help others; considers others´ points of view with an open mind.**Why Work at Kohler Co.?**Kohler Co.'s mission is to contribute to a higher level of gracious living for those who are touched by our products and services.
