**Ayúdanos a construir el DNA de la tecnología.****Purpose of the position**Manager of the Cost Accounting department for the Gomez Palacio location. Provides management with product line and profit and loss reports for the Gomez Palacio, Durango location. This includes operational reporting for sales, orders, backlog, direct costs, overhead, and inventories. As well as profit plan, timekeeping and variance analysis.**Essential Function / Responsabilities**Manages Cost Accounting and related functions following company policy and GAAP. Responsible for reviewing and maintaining proper internal controls within guidelines of company policy.Oversees the development and review of cost standards used for valuation of inventories. Does a quarterly review of inventory to evaluate obsolescence risk and “lower of cost or market” valuation. Does quarterly review of transfer prices.Responsible for preparation of monthly cost of sales through gross margin and the product line reconciliation to budget and prior periods. Responsible for budget and forecast preparation including sales, order, backlog, inventories, direct and indirect costs through OM/D.Responsible for establishing and evaluating labor and overhead rates. Reviewing on a quarterly basis and updating standards with new rates at the end of the year.Prepares numerous reports for management on labor, material, and overhead. Investigates significant variances to budget. Prepares and distributes monthly cost of sales which include key measurements like HPC, non-productivity and scrap.**Experience**- Supervisory experience preferred.- Basic knowledge of IMMEX (Import and Export) operations and or procedures.- Intermediate knowledge of Mexican Tax laws.- Basics of invoicing requirements under Mexican law.- Advance knowledge of Cost Centers control environment.- Knowledge of PC hardware and software programs including Microsoft Office, SAP, and TM1 preferred.**Education**Bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in accounting.
