Business Developer for Esg

Local Unit & Position Description:**DNV Supply Chain & Product Assurance seeks a Business Developer for ESG**. You will get the opportunity to win, lead and develop our work on a wide range of sustainability services primarily focused on Sustainability report assurance, sustainability strategy, sustainable finance, and climate change and decarbonization consulting. When doing this, you will get the opportunity to engage with many of the region’s leading companies and brands across a wide range of sectors and to leverage a suite of services and digital technologies to scope, sell, and deliver innovative solutions.This position can be performed with flexible work arrangements (home/office) in Mexico City. Other locations might be considered.**What You’ll Do**- Perform as a Sustainability Sales/ Business Developer, identifying opportunities in the domain of ESG and Sustainability- Market intelligence/ companies targeting- Market prospection: people/ position identification and contact- New business opportunities identification- Commercial meetings and presentations- Development of new services/ solutions- Biding, proposal, follow-up, and contract reviewing- Sales system interface- Projects handover to the operations teamPosition Qualifications:**What Is Required**- Must possess a minimum of an Associates degree- A minimum of 5 years experience in ESG/ Sustainability, considering the following requirements:- Professional expertise - demonstrates knowledge and expertise in ESG/ Sustainability areasconsistent networking in ESG and sustainability- Proven track record in sales and business development of ESG & Sustainability services, ideally within a consultancy environment- Proactively seeking to identify customer needs, developing tailored solutions, and selling these to new and existing clients- Consultative sales skills:- The ability to discover explicit needs and uncover implicit needs and business drivers- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English- Communication at different levels (C-level to operational), hands-on, flexibility, and teamwork- We conduct pre-hire background checks*Immigration-related employment benefits, for example, visa sponsorship, are not available for this position***How We Do It**We Care, We Dare, We ShareDNV is a proud equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
