Continue reading for more information on our Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist position.The Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist is a skilled accounting position providing financial, administrative, and clerical services to the Astute Electronics Inc organization, specifically performing accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts receivable transactions. Accounts receivable duties include ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status- Maintain and update customer information, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions within Astute systems- Assist with month, quarter, and fiscal year end closing- Maintain confidentiality or organizational information- Continuous improvement of the accounts receivable process**Requirements**:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy- Sense of urgency- Change tolerant- Fast learner- Commercial awareness- Ability to meet deadlines- You must be a great team player, collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a great team working atmosphereHigh School diploma or equivalentPreferred: College Degree (Accounting, Business, related field, or equivalent) or 1+ years relatable accounting experience.- Proficient in data entry and management- Problem solving skills- Multitasking skills- Strong organizational and administrative skills- Strong communication skills: oral/writtenLanguage, Mathematical, And/OR Reasoning Ability:- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.-- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.- Ability to communicate in a high-pressure environment.**Benefits**:
