Roles and Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
The Solution Consultant will design, deliver, and execute business solutions and the activities of implementing ARCOS product solutions to new and existing customers. Work directly with customers to determine business rules and processes. Assist with completing configuration documentation, implementation, and train customers to test and prepare for go-live. Ensure that implementations of ARCOS product solutions are accomplished within prescribed time frames and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and adherence of the ARCOS Solutions Delivery Framework within assigned product solution areas.
- Facilitate demos of assigned product solutions with sales staff to determine customer configuration requirements and feasibility for successful implementation.
- Contribute to pre-sale whiteboard sessions, rough order of magnitude scope documents, and formal scopes of work used to specify required deliverables for a product solution implementation project.
- Development of presentation materials focused on product solutions for key project implementation meetings and internal training as assigned.
- Coordinate and facilitate product solution configuration project-related meetings with customer stakeholders, including leading and/or co-leading Implementation Workshops and Configuration Walkthroughs on-site at customer locations and remotely.
- Oversee analysis of requirements and data submitted by customers. Perform analysis of requirements and level of “fit” to ARCOS product solutions.
- Ability to act as an individual contributor on a project, primarily as a product subject matter expert (“SME”) leading all configuration for assigned product solutions aligned to customer contracted deliverables.
- Communicate project status to ARCOS project manager, team members, management, and client as deemed necessary.
- Implement product solution configuration and testing plans based on customer requirements.
- Responsible for the User Acceptance Testing requirements (test script creation and customer feedback processing) within any given project and product solution delivery.
- Work directly with customers to establish optimal implementation of operational workflow to enable ease of project plans and manage each phase of projects.
- Provide excellent customer service and professionalism to ARCOS customers and internal departments.
- Assist with coordination of ARCOS Engineering developers to ensure proper configuration of ARCOS product solutions and testing team to ensure complete testing of ARCOS product solutions.
- Accountable for simultaneous, multiple small/medium product solution implementation projects.
- Support and influence incremental business opportunities at new and existing customers and/or partners and effectively communicate to Sales and Management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Individuals in this position should have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of five years’ experience working directly with customers on needs analysis and implementing software applications or related IT projects.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, and customer reference materials.
- Ability to write reports, training materials, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to act as an individual contributor on a customer project, primarily as a product solution subject matter expert (“SME”) for two or more ARCOS product solutions.
- Reasoning ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and work with abstract and concrete variables.
- Competency with Salesforce, Office 365, and Jira.
- Excellent typing skills, strong grammar, and spelling abilities.
- Attention to detail, and knowledge of basic operational hygiene.
- Status reporting.
- Conduct actions with integrity and accountability.
- Working knowledge of UNIX/AIX and SQL.
- Ability to have 50% travel, including domestic and international. The ability to travel by air is mandatory. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
