We pride ourselves on curating a unique, 5-star hotel accommodations in the comfort of a home.Wander is seeking a dedicated Vendor Sourcing Specialist to join our team. As a Vendor Sourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vacation rental properties by sourcing and training vendors and local contractors. This includes but is not limited to housekeeping crews, maintenance contractors, pool/spa technicians and landscapers.**Responsibilities**:- Oversee the sourcing and screening of vendors and local contractors for various tasks related to vacation rental properties.- Assist in the onboarding and training efforts to ensure vendors understand Wander expectations.- Build and maintain the relationship with vendors during their first couple weeks of employment ensuring high-quality services are delivered.- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise during training period.- Collaborate with both the property management team and project managers to ensure seamless coordination between vendors and property onboarding operations.- Stay updated on best practices related to vendor management in the vacation rental industry.**Requirements**:- 3+ years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or onboarding roles.- Experience in vendor management, preferably in the vacation rental industry.- Strong negotiation and communication skills.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.- Must be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.
