While our focus remains on providing our students with transformative, accessible and flexible higher education pathways, we also nurture an inclusive, supportive and genuinely kind work environment for our employees in three provinces.If you want to help transform the Canadian post-secondary education landscape and shine a light on academic excellence, please join us.**Who we need**:**Based in-country**, the Regional Director of Student Recruitment is responsible for the overall recruitment of international students for Yorkville University and Toronto Film School in Latin & Central America.The Regional Director will establish and deliver a regional recruitment strategy, as well as overseeing student recruitment activities and management of staff in the area. This will include recruiting students to study in Yorkville University and Toronto Film School programs in Canada through (but not limited to) partnerships, high schools and agents.If you want to take on a role where you can make a profound difference on the experience of students, we'd love to talk to you.**What's in it for you**:We provide a transformative, accessible, and flexible higher education environment, out team shares a passion for learning, teaching, and growing. We nurture an inclusive, supportive, and diverse work environment throughout our three campus locations.This is a salaried position.**What you will do**:- Represent Yorkville University and Toronto Film School brands to promote to agents, institutions, schools, and prospective students. With a focus on business development.- Manage a small team of advisors based in China, while simultaneously collaborating with the primary team based in Canada- Plan and participate in remote or in person events such as virtual fairs, on-spot admissions, agency fairs and information sessions.- Meet quarterly targets, goals and KPIs set by the Director of International Student Recruitment- Use market research analysis to generate strategies which will develop and manage international student enrollment- Maintain databases to efficiently track interactions- Develop and maintain a wide range of high-level external international relationships with entities such as teachers, guidance counsellors, owners and directors of international and private high schools in Latin & Central America.- Develop and maintain relationships with and conduct on-going training for the owners, managers and counselors of educational advising partners or agents located in Latin & Central America.- Develop and maintain relationships with potential partner institutions in Latin & Central America. Work with internal academic leadership to develop transnational partnerships with Latin American universities and colleges. Engage in recruitment activities at these colleges and universities in order to promote Yorkville University and Toronto Film School programs abroad.- Run recruitment events for prospective students and applicants in Latin & Central America.- Working with the marketing team, develop full-funnel advertising strategies and campaigns in Latin & Central America to support success in the region.- Manage partnerships in Latin & Central America to maximize yield in terms of student starts. Serve as a communication bridge between internal academic leaders and their counterparts in partner organizations.- Ensures all duties and responsibilities are performed within budgeted resources.Success will be measured by the number of students who start and study in one of Yorkville University and/or Toronto Film School’s degree or diploma programs.**What you bring**:- 5+ years’ experience in recruiting international students in Asia- University/private college sales experience with an active agent network- Exceptional communications, time and people management skills- Bachelor’s Degree - Masters preferred- Bilingual in Mandarin and English with strong written and verbal communication skills- Self-discipline and the ability to work independently and with a team- P
