Tax Supervisor

Offer support, provide solutions, and prepare working papers for the companies of the group in accordance with the current tax regulations, supervise projects related to the tax department, and tax planning; provide and evaluate training to tax analysts. Also will be responsible for providing reports and feedback to management regarding the personnel in charge.**Roles and responsabilities**:- Maintain effective communication with both staff and management of tax department.- Provide feedback and follow-up to improve the working papers of the different tax calculations.- Stay up to date on the main tax compliance changes to coordinate, support and advise consultations on tax procedures.- Preparation and follow-up of the activities with the dates established for the completion of work papers in the different projects, including CIEC and FIELES (electronic password and signature).- Request the pertinent information from each department to have timely information regarding effective rates, and annual & monthly tax calculations and ensure that the information provided is correct.- Coordination, review, and assurance of the release of work papers for the presentation of monthly, annual, and informative monthly and quarterly tax returns.- Coordinate and make sure have the correct information for presentation and dates of attention to requirements, and attention to returns before the Tax Administration Service (SAT).- Make sure to review, release, and have working papers and formats for annual declarations on time for the final review.- Make sure you have the Proof of tax situation and opinion of tax compliance up to date.- Review and release of work papers for the determination of monthly payments of IT, VAT (DIOT), registration of provisions, and registration of monthly taxes.- Review and release of working papers for the determination of Wages and Salaries and Salaries Assimilated and compare it with the preloaded information of the CFDIS of the SAT.- Make sure to have the crossing digital tax receipts online (CFDI/XML) vs registered income.- Coordination, collection, and delivery of income tax work papers for wages and salaries for external audit release.- Ensure compliance with the information requirements for external audits (Financial Statement Audit Firm) for the preparation of tax reports.- Review and coordination of sending the catalog of accounts and trial balance by the grouping codes established by the SAT.- Any other activity related to your position required by your immediate boss.**Required Background**:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position- Proficient English level- Proven experience in Maquiladora industry- Basic knowledge of the customs area- Demonstrated proficiency using Excel- SAP is a must- Excellent interpersonal skills.- Initiative, for the solution of important problems that arise in the position.**Why join us?**- You can grow at Aptiv.
