**The Role**Plexus is seeking a talented and driven **Senior Functional Test Design**Engineer** to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and commercialization of our innovative products, from concept to launch.As a **Senior Functional Test Design**E**ngineer,** you will be responsible for the design, development, and verification of test solutions for our products. You will utilize your engineering expertise and creativity to create robust and efficient test systems, ensuring the highest quality and reliability of our products.**Key Job Accountabilities**:- Developing innovative test concepts and designs using appropriate tools and equipment.- Performing design creation, analysis, and verification.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the entire product life cycle, from conceptualization to sustaining engineering.- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation in accordance with quality and change management procedures.**Education/Experience Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.- 5+ years of related experience is required.- 2+ years of experience in test design engineering or a related field is preferred.- Proficiency in LabVIEW and TestStand is preferred.- Experience with automated test systems, functional testing, environmental testing.- Experience working with customers.- A solid understanding of Lean Sigma principles and tools.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers.- Root cause analysis experience.- Lab test/measurement equipment.- This document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform._
