**Job Details****What you will do? Job Scope & PurposeUsing advanced, broad-based financial accounting business knowledge, performs complex analyses to support and measure results and effectively manages financial planning projects and resources to ensure project success, with a focus on inventory. Works with independence, interacts regularly with corporate financial management to consolidate and analyze quarterly forecasts and two year plans, five year Strategic Plans, analyze monthly financial results and establish & measure key financial targets.**How you will do it? Essential Job Responsibilities**1. Prepares, analyzes and reviews quarterly rolling forecasts and annual financial plans. Analyzes and reviews actual monthly financial performance. Instinctively recognizes inconsistencies in financial data and initiates and manages the appropriate corrective action.2. Reviews the evaluation and justification of capital investments and other strategic initiatives as needed.3. Acting in a consulting role, demonstrates understanding of the financial analysis process and applies that knowledge to developing cost effective analyses and recommendations to the global inventory management team.4. Maintains dialog with management and non-finance teams to identify and evaluate evolving business issues.5. Manages special studies and analyses on an independent basis, assuming responsibility for the quality and effectiveness of the studies/analyses.6. Prepares/reviews presentations for the team sent to Corporate comprising of actual results, forecasts, industry views, operating results etc.7. Reviews accuracy of balance sheet, cash flow and financial metric trends to ensure accuracy and potential gaps.8. Manage, review, and analyze raw, WIP, and finished goods inventory.9. Collect, document, monitor, and review inventory data for accuracy and timeliness within our various ERP systems.10. Supports analytical requirements for new product development support, 3rd Party inventory management programs and plant ERP implementations.11. Provides oversight and manages spending and performance for the global management team.**What we look for? Position Requirements- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance with a MBA or CPA preferred.- Minimum 6 years of progressive financial experience in a multinational business.- Strong analytical skills, research capabilities and overall business acumen required.- Ability to transform large datasets into useful, actionable information- Solid project management and business consultant skills.- Excellent communications skills, including significant experience in written and oral reports and presentations to high-level management. Should have the ability to explain finance impacts to non-finance teams and bring the gap between finance and partners.- Johnson Controls does not request pregnancy or HIV testing as a requirement for admission, permanence or promotion._
